I have the second link.
They have a drl version grill that will stay on as long as the OEM drls are on. The one I have the light bar turns on when the headlights turn on and the drl lights are on. The raptor lights turn on when in park mode
Replaced lariat sport grill with red rock Baja style grill with light bar. Just for fun, I added two more 8” RC flood light bars behind the grill at the bottom.
I should be more clear, it senses when the truck battery has a load( truck ignition is turned on) then the rostra module turns on. When the ignition turns off the rostra module will power off.
Internally I guess it has a relay. It senses when there is voltage in use and turns on. When it senses no voltage use, it turns off. Connects directly to the battery
I used rostra source power 250-2950 when I want devices to only turn on when the truck is on. I’ve also made my wireless pedestrian device that uses a 9v battery. So far been a year and have not had to replace the battery.
It looks like there’s a clip right in the middle. Do you need to use the clip in the middle to mount it? To me the clip just looks like it breaks the flow of the light bar.
I have one. It is easy to put up and take out. Just be careful with the flexible handle. It will scratch the plastic surfaces. Scratched the plastic above the screen the first time I put up the umbrella shade
If you would simply like to quiet the sound. You might want to try to use this cap or something similar. https://www.printables.com/model/161446-fits-ford-f150-backup-alarm-quieting-cap
I 3D printed the cap and are very pleased with the decibels. I have to roll down the windows and really pay...
Same here. Seems like something changed. The weather, software, the gas, but I’m getting better mpg now than a week ago. I was averaging 20mpg now I’m closer to 24mpgs with some trips being around 28mpgs.
Well you could always make your own adapter or buy one a member sells. I made my own sound delete jumper. for less than $10.
