You can probably save them but it’s going to make the job more difficult and I don’t think the factory cloth seat covers are worth much anyway. All I I can tell you is there is a risk in trying to pull the clips out vs. cutting the old covers and sliding them out. I actually broke one initially...
There were multiple videos on YouTube that I watched and between all of them I was able to figure out how to do it. I took one day to do the front and another to do the rear. One good piece of advice I will give you is to cut off the old seat covers. Do not try to save them and try to cut...
Actually I had a different sound coming from the door originally(a flapping sound on rough roads) which I took the door panel off for and only put a tiny bit of lithium grease at the very bottom on each side. It was after that, that the window would squeal a little bit occasionally that I...
Who knows. Aren’t many of these wheels made in China nowadays, so that could be a possibility. Vibration issues seem to be a pretty common thing with this gen F150 and lots of them come with 20s. Would love to see if guys that run 18s have less problems.
I swapped the factory 20” with Goodyear Fortitude HTs for 18s with General Grabber HTS P275/65R18s from my dads 21 Lariat FX4 and the ride and vibration freeway speeds were considerably better. I swapped them and then made a short trip down the interstate and then swapped them back. Replaced the...
I owned three Rams (all Laramie) before switching back to Ford three years ago. The ZF is definitely a much smoother shifting transmission for sure and would take it any day of the week over the 10R80. The F150 rides like a tank compared to even the cheapest Ram. I agree a lower trim level with...
The shell that fits the 2015-2020 models is too short. My dad just bought a 21 Lariat that had a very nice painted Leer cap on it. We decided to sell it and go with a hard tonneau cover instead. That being said the first truck we tried it on was a 2017 model and it was 2” too long.
If you have the 8.8 E locker you can use either one no problem. If you had a traditional LS rear, Amsoil all day long. My personal favorite is Redline but it’s really just a matter of personal preference.
