Been years since I’ve done the forum thing. Seems fb kinda killed them. Glad to see this one active. I’ve done the diesel thing since 2005. This is the first gas truck I’ve owned and driven in almost 20 years.

Bought new 9/1/2023. It’s a XLT sport super crew 302A package, avalanche gray, 3.5 ecoboost, 4wd.

Got the windows tinted same day as purchasing it. Did 5% geoshield ceramic over factory rear tint and on the front doors. Also has a 5% brow that’s to the bottom of the rear view mirror. The dark windows against the color really looks good I think.

Also just finished up doing an eibach coil over leveling kit. Took about 2hrs to put on myself. Didn’t know what I was getting into since I’m so used to solid front axle stuff and semi stuff. Went really smooth. It being new probably helped also.

Initially, the kit added about 3 3/4” of lift to the front. I didn’t touch the settings on the coilovers. They got installed like they come out the box. Once installed, I took it down the road to see if the ride quality improved and upon returning home and remeasuring they settled out to right at 2 1/2” of lift. Truck sits 3/4” higher in the rear. I expect a tad more settling front the front and it’ll have a nice 1” or so rake to it. Looks to have plenty of clearance around all parts. The coils even about match the truck.

I have a kicker key 200.4 in route to me and some speaker and harness adapters to add a little life to the stock audio. Not planning on getting wild but just add some depth to it.

I’ll end up doing some deadening on the doors, probably the block off panels from sound good guys, 6x9s up front, 6.5s in the rear doors, the kicker key 200.4 and a harness from plug and play kits. Speakers will be CT Sounds Meso line. I have them in my Peterbilt and really like them a lot.

After that, ambient lighting. The wife’s expedition has it and I really like it. Ford dropped the ball leaving something so simple off on these newer trucks.

Cool. I will tell ya, the DSP does AMAZING changes to the front state if you bi-amped it for the front. Run rear doors off radio.
Brings the front stage right in the center of the dash. The self time-alignment is amazing.

I’m by no means an audio guru so I’m open to suggestions on this. Doesn’t the harness dictate what’s getting amplified? I haven’t dug that far into this part.

Is this supposed to be a picture of the truck you’re describing? I ask this because your description says BAP, but the photo of the truck shows a non BAP truck. If your truck was a BAP, you’d have different wheels, headlights, side badges, grille, hood, and tail lights then those that are shown.

Also, the 23’s don’t have much for ambient lighting because of the “chip shortage” I suppose.. my 22’ had some of it, but I added the stuff from a 21. Not sure if it’s because you have an XLT or not, but my 22 lariat did come with some of the ambient lighting.

This is what the BAP wheels look like.

Here’s a pic of some of the ambient lighting I added from a 21. There is a nice thread on here describing the process, with info on who to contact to purchase the required harnesses. The parts can be bought pretty affordably from your local parts counter, or a ford parts online site.

That is a FINE looking truck. It looks almost the same as our '23 PowerBoost, but different wheels.

Got some miles on it after the eibach coils… it rides so much better. The boat feeling ride is gone completely. Absorbs bumps in the roads and handles great! Seems now the limit is the rear shocks. Front is smooth then a rough on the back end. Going to do the matching eibach shocks in a resi more than likely. Also, alignment was off pretty bad. Got that back into spec this morning and the ride home was better than the ride to town. Highly impressed and recommend.
