Is Area-51 the color?

That's a cool color for a truck, Ford is really hitting it out of the park with their colors lately.

The Ford F150 XL is hands down, BY FAR the most “bang for the buck” on the market today.

Sure… you don’t get all the “goodies” but if you just want a great, modern truck without paying for a bunch of crap you don’t need and likely will rarely use, you can’t go wrong with a F150 XL!

I have a fully loaded XLT and while I do enjoy all the cool tech, I could easily have done with out it all and would still be VERY HAPPY with my new F150.

Picked up my Area 51 XLT 302a on 2/25. Ordered 10/13 of 2022, delivered sometime a week before purchase. Came from a 2021 Rapid Red XLT (sorry rapid red club!), definitely love the sport look as opposed to chrome. FX4, tow tech, bed utility packages. Got x-plan pricing too which helped a ton! Crazy the MSRP has increased roughly $8k from 2021’s to 2023’s (my 2021 was $56,875 but did not have the rear sliding window, sport package, or the now bed utility package).

Pretty pumped to show off my new baby in t-minus 4 days!!!

Coming from a 21 Ranger Lariat, with a slew of aftermarkets added. Ended up with about 9k over what the truck was worth at the end of the lease. Big win and the sales manager wanted it for his own ride so I feel like I did a pretty damn good job on the appearance.

Stepping into a 23 2.7L F-150 XLT 302A SCrew 3.55, Co-Pilot 360+, Moonroof, and the Sport Package. I really wanted the Lariat. I just can't get past the Interior. I truly hope with the 24' that will change in two years when my lease is up. I was going to order a 24 Lariat but they can't confirm the interior for me, and the BAP 302A isn't available to order till April in Canada.

I get the truck on Tuesday and I've got BAP emblems, 2' Readylift, 295/70 KO2 tires on 18x9 Fuel Satin Black Maverick wheels with a +20 offset, blacked out the tail pipe, some black Canadian Flags for the driver/passenger doors, 15% on the front windows, 5" strip on the top of the front window, Raised Black F-150 lettering on the rear, Enthuze Tri Fold Hard Tonneau, and it'll be getting a paint correction and ceramic coating on the 20th.

Didn't bother with Katzkin for leather because it'll be gone in 2 years and I only add on what I can take with me, minus the Readylift.

I want to do some aftermarket gills, though. I may just get intricate and plastidip the chrome lettering and cut it out like I did on my Ranger. It turned out epic and is still holding up. Any recommendations?

I'll update you all next Wednesday after the tint is complete!

I'll honestly miss this little truck. It served me well for my first truck. This isn't even the most updated picture as the orange runners we're swapped out for black LED's.

I noticed your tag says " Falken Wildpeak A/T3W LT295/70R18 on Method MR305 NV 18x9, +18 wheels " Do you have any updated pictures with that size of tire/rim? Everywhere I've seen with a 2" level there is no rubbing. I hope this is the case because I've ordered it all.. xD. Can you confirm?
