Screwed .. Dead Battery on my 2021 f150

I go out to jump in the truck to go get gas for the work week bout 9 or so this eve and find my bleeping truck won’t open, won’t do a thing … So I run down in the wife’s car and get new key fob battery but they don t call me BAD LUCK for nothin .. I have no key hole ,(Why the bleep not) nor do I have the key pad code … Can’t believe they don’t give us a way to get inside the damn truck when battery is dead … So had to text the boss and let him know I won’t be in till later or if at all depending how long it takes Ford Roadside assistance to get here and then I have to charge my battery … so pissed … at least my 13 screw I could pop the hood but not on this 2021 it ain’t happening … Technology sucks they need less bells and whistles ..shoulda bought a 2020 … cus this is bs ..

Wat? driver side has a keyhole for emergencies unless someone changed the handle

I don’t think I’ve seen one without a keyhole on the driver side front door handle. Mine is a ‘23 but it definitely has it.

My 21 has a key lock in the handle and a removable key in the end of the fob. Squeeze the tabs on the top and it slides out or you already have the switchblade style

Yea, well, they all have the ability to gain entry… even if the battery had been removed and the truck had been locked! A quick search on the internet would have shown where to insert the key.

When I was having battery problems and the SOC got down as low as 4% I could still open the doors with the key fob. Suspect that there is more than just the battery causing you problems.

Got it handled … it did have a door key hole on drivers side but my dumb ass was on the passenger side which doesn’t have one .. Well I guess it’s why when a I call people stupid , I don’t leave myself out cus once in a while it bites me too I just don’t live in stupid like many do …. Opened with key , popped hood and charged battery , was only 30 min late to work … New battery coming today … Mine was always running low voltage so I knew it was only a matter of time …
