Safety Recall Notice 23S65/Wheel end hub bolt in rear axle may become loose or break

I have an early 2021 Power Boost KR. I searched and didn't see any other post on this one. Anyone else get this?

Says they are working on a remedy for final service repair and essentially stay tuned, expect sometime in 2nd qtr. Just got it last week.

Put my '21 in the shop last week with this issue. Dealer says they're prohibited by Ford to give it back to me until it's fixed. Hopefully before April.

Wait a minute! it's YOUR truck. How can they refuse to give it back to you? Sounds like a lawyer might be in order here. Just because they manufactured a faulty machine they are going to deprive you the use of it? That is the classic definition of THEFT in our state. You bought it. I would be raising 40 kinds of hell if it was mine! By the way mine is also on the recall. Ford doesn't seem too concerned about fixing things that cause vehicle recalls in my opinion.

They're "working" on it. Have another ride, so not that much of a big deal. If they don't have a loaner or my truck first of next week, I'll apply a little more energy to the situation.

It makes me wonder if it’s financed by Ford, maybe they have the right to keep it in order to prevent possible further damage. That could be a real problem for someone traveling, to discover the bolt is broken 3000 miles away from home…

Nothing in the CSP or recall states to put a hold on property or to not drive with the condition.
