For fun, and maybe to vent, we should start a thread to see who has had the most warranty claims/issues with their gen 14 F-150.
Before I start I'll say that I have 2 others Fords. A '90 Mustang GT and a '95 F-150 XLT as a work truck so im not new to the brand and like Fords...obviously. This one BY FAR has been the most troublesome.

'22 Lariat 3.5 EB extended cab long bed 4wd. less than 14k miles.

So far.
1. bed camera and third stop light disconnected upon arrival.
2. Battery replaced.
3. Front differential rebuilt
4. Rear driveshaft replaced
5. torque converter replaced.
6. overhead console replaced
7. rear door window seal replaced
8. rear glass exterior roof rubber trim replaced
9.transmission replaced
10. rear pinion seal replaced
I got it out of the shop yesterday after 16 days to have the trans replaced and now there's a decent coolant leak and while looking for that I noticed that one of the belts is disintegrating into powder that is all over the front of the motor.

And I'm not including the recalls that everyone has to deal with. So far being the trailer brake reprogram and wiper motor recall. Nor am I including the electronic gremlins that seemed to have self repaired.

Christ Darrell! And you still love Fords? I hope your wife, GF, or SO doesn’t give you that kind of shit!

Just crossed the 12k mark in my ‘22 XLT and she has yet to see the dealership, for anything.

I have owned vehicles, both domestic and foreign, that have had their fair share of warranty work, but nothing approaching you. My 21 platinum has had 1 trip to the dealer for a weeping front pinion seal. 21,000 miles. I hope your dealer is close to you and treats you well.

My truck was almost 100% from March '22 to May '23, then when I got the tsb performed for the Unintended tailgate opening issue corrupted software grounded it at the dealer for 15 days. Before that it ran perfectly but the tailgate would drop on its own every now and then.

So far no warranty work on 3 Gen14 trucks. (only owned 2 at any given time)

As for the forum needing a place to vent.......... Venting is never more than a mouse click away!

My ‘22 has only had a rear window seal replaced (supercab) since it was leaking water inside, and the module that controls 4x4 and drive modes

Edit: I’m currently at 29k miles

34k miles in 2.5 years on my 2021 F150 XLT. Not a single issue , thank God. It looks like the newer models an higher trims have most of the issues reported in the forums.

30K and two years, drivers side camera went out last October. Codes and the dealer thought it was the camera, but after replacing it, still had the same problem and codes. Turns out it was the module. It was my lucky day and they had the module in stock. quick replacement and programing and it was repaired.

I bought another Ford because I have had good luck with them...as for how I feel about Ford now, it's up in the air but loosing faith for sure.

My dealer is pretty close, and does a good job I suppose. Ive had limited experience with dealers and I've heard horror stories about others dealings with dealers in general, but so far so good. After all they are getting paid by Ford for the warranty work.

I guess I did want to vent a bit but more-so wanted to see what/ and how many issues others have had on this new generation of trucks.

Warranty work was explained to me a long time ago by a dealer. He said that he makes money selling cars, but the real money was made in warranty.

I’ve had quirks on my 2023 like blown out bulbs and had a week or two of erratic shifting but nothing where it’s needed shop time. I had to replace bulbs for turn signal/light but the shifting fixed itself with no intervention.

I've heard something similar. The service department is where the dealership makes it's real money.

Wiper recall, battery replaced at the time of the 1rst oil change at 5k miles on the present 22 XLT 302a, 2.7 Payload Package.

Next oil change in 3K miles will have the dealer address the dreaded flickering running light recall.
